My review:

Secrets abound in Susan May Warren's stellar new novel You Don't Know Me.  Annalise Decker has spent the last 20 years establishing her new identity without ever revealing to her husband or children that she was in the Witness Security Program.  Then Agent Frank Harrison shows up and pretends to be her "uncle" as he devises a way to keep Annalise safe from the man she testified against who was now out on parole looking to kill her.  Annalise is afraid for her life and her family.  She begins to act different and her husband, who is running for mayor, begins to question their marriage, his place in the community, and why "uncle" Frank is dating his widowed mother.  Things begin to unravel when Annalise finally shares her dreaded secret.  Emotions run high and danger is imminent.  Will Annalise make the right decision to save her family and truly move beyond her past?

I was completely entranced in this adventurous romance.  I love the reason why Susan wrote this story.  She met a woman on an airplane who was going to say good bye to her daughter who was entering the Witness Security Program.  This novel seemed very true to life.  There were tense moments and funny moments.  The elements, characters and story line all intertwined to give a rich, moving story about love, courage and trust.  It also had three love stories dancing through the pages.  I thoroughly enjoyed this book and am glad Susan continues to write Deep Haven Novels.

*I was given a complimentary copy of this book for my review from Litfuse Hens.  All opinions are my own.*
